First step: familiarization with equipment and DJ software. Basic mixing techniques, basic music theory. Learning to use an equalizer and filter.
Second step: practicing mixing techniques, working on the first mix. How to use looper, delay and other effects.
The third step is more advanced mixing techniques, effects and tricks (creating your own mix and preparing for public performances
The fourth step is to bring the mixing to perfection and record the mix, performing in public.
